POSITION : Project Officer (Training) (URGENT)
Roles & Responsibilities: -
- To supervise training and development programs for individual and corporate members of ENSEARCH;
- To plan, organize, and direct a wide range of environmental-related training activities;
- To identify market needs in terms of training requirements and to structure the training set-up to meet these needs;
- To identify suitable trainers for training programmes;
- To ensure that training remains a key component of ENSEARCH in terms of our development goals and objectives by providing a steady stream of revenue to the organisation;
- To periodically evaluate training effectiveness and to gauge the effectiveness of a trainer;
- To consider alternative training modules, including interactive Internet-based training, multimedia programs, training videos and other computer-aided instructional technologies, simulators, conferences, and workshops;
- To keep abreast of the latest developments in the environmental sector and to provide insights and inputs to the Management and Council of ENSEARCH in terms of market demands;
- To assist the Secretariat in driving the sustainable agenda of ENSEARCH
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience in handling training;
- A degree in human resource, environmental science or related fields;
- Keen interest and preferably a strong background in environmental science or engineering. Must have a passion for the environment;
- Understand and relate to the work ethics of an NGO;
- Team player and also able to work independently when necessary;
- Innovative and forward thinking
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) in both English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Pleasant disposition
